Excellent on salmon, chicken, and pork. This stuff rocks!
Ingredients - Part 1
- 2/3 cup bottled water
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup lite teriyaki sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
Directions
Combine ingredients in saucepan. Stir until brown sugar is dissolved. Heat on medium until bubbling then turn to simmer.
Ingredients - Part II
- 3 TBL sour mix
- 1/4 cup white onion, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 TBL whiskey (Jack Daniels)
- 1 TBL chopped pineapple
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 TBL olive oil
Directions
Add above ingredients to simmering sauce. Simmer uncovered until pretty thick and syrupy (about 1 hour). Serve as a sauce.

This always goes over great! It is *not* a marinade, but a topping. You can pour warm sauce into a blender and puree it to make smooth.
