An easy fish recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 tilapia fish fillets
- 2 TBL cooking oil (I use canola)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- panko crumbs, enough to cover both sides of fish
- 2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
Hardware
- cookie sheet with wire rack in middle
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix oil, garlic powder, and lemon juice in shallow dish.
Mix panko and seasoning in shallow dish.
Dredge fillet in oil mix then in panko mix. Sprinkle crumbs to cover fish
completely then put on wire rack.
Cook at 350 degrees for 7 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
Doug's Notes
Tilapia is one of those fish that needs to be cooked through, but not
overcooked. Some fish, such as salmon or ahi, is best served rare.
