Made from discarded sourdough starter.
Yields 12 pancakes
Ingredients
sponge
- 1 cup AP flour
- 1 tbsp granulated white sugar
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup sourdough starter
pancakes
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/3 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
hardware
- medium mixing bowl
- large mixing bowl
Preparation
Mix sponge in medium mixing bowl. Cover and let rest overnight at room temperature.
Beat egg, oil in large bowl. Mix in sponge. Mix in salt, baking soda.
Make pancakes.
